Spanish Club Athletic Bilbao on Wednesday confirmed six new coronavirus cases among the members of the club.
In a statement, Bilbao said that six inpiduals, without indication whether they are players or staff members, have tested positive for the respiratory disease.
The statement also added that the cases are isolating at home and a new Covid-19 swab will be taken from them during the upcoming week.
"The health authorities have been informed with the new cases as they will receive the proper treatment according to La Liga's guidelines," Bilbao noted.
Coronavirus is resuming to threaten the football as Valencia confirmed two cases of Covid-19 this week, while Atletico Madrid reported two positive tests before their Champions League quarter-final. Barcelona had also confirmed an unnamed coronavirus case.
