Former Italy national team coach Luciano Spalletti has finalized an agreement with Juventus to take over as head coach, succeeding Igor Tudor, who was recently dismissed following a series of poor results.

According to the well-known Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Spalletti has accepted the offer to manage Juventus, with an agreement already reached between both parties.

Romano added that the verbal agreement extends until June 2026, with an option for renewal should Juventus qualify for the UEFA Champions League this season.

Romano also confirmed that the official steps and contracts are currently being reviewed by the club’s legal team before the final signing of documents.

Meanwhile, Juventus is set to face Udinese in a crucial Serie A match tonight at 8:30 PM Cairo time at the Allianz Stadium in Turin, as part of the ninth round of the 2025/2026 Italian League season.

Both teams enter the match tied on 12 points each. Juventus currently sits eighth in the standings, just ahead of Udinese, who occupies ninth place on goal difference.

After eight matches, both sides have recorded three wins, three draws, and two defeats. The Bianconeri have scored nine goals and conceded eight, while Udinese have netted ten and conceded twelve.
