Spain will host Georgia tonight at the Manuel Martínez Valero Stadium in Elche, as part of the European qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Spain currently tops Group E with six points, while Georgia sits in second place with three.

The Spanish team made a strong start to its qualifying campaign, opening with a 3–0 win over Bulgaria before cruising to a 6–0 victory away to Turkey.

Spain remain the clear favorite to finish first in the group and will look to secure back-to-back wins against Georgia and Bulgaria before facing Turkey again in November.

However, La Roja will be missing several key players tonight, including Dean Huijsen, Dani Carvajal, Rodri, Fermín López, Gavi, Nico Williams, and Lamine Yamal.

Georgia, meanwhile, continues to build momentum after making history with its first-ever appearance at a major tournament in Euro 2024, where it reached the round of 16 and gained significant international recognition.

The team now aims to qualify for the World Cup for the first time, led by a promising squad that includes Paris Saint-Germain star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

Georgia opened its qualifying campaign with a 3–2 home loss to Turkey but bounced back strongly with a 3–0 win over Bulgaria in the second round.

Kvaratskhelia, who recently missed time with PSG due to a thigh injury, is expected to start tonight, while Giorgi Chakvetadze will remain sidelined through injury.
