Southampton Sign Liverpool's Takumi Minamino on Loan

Liverpool official website has announced on late Monday that the Reds forward Takumi Minamino has joined the English Southampton FC on loan for the remainder of the 2020-21 season.

The Japan international player heads to St Mary’s after a deal was agreed with the fellow Premier League club a few hours before the transfer window deadline.

Minamino has played 31 games and scored four goals since arriving at Anfield coming from Red Bull Salzburg last January.

Southampton rank 11th in the Premier league standings ahead of the latest round of fixtures this midweek, where they are scheduled to travel to meet Manchester United on Tuesday night.
