Liverpool legend Graeme Souness confirmed on Wednesday that Mohamed Salah is the best player in the season 2020-21.
Mohamed Salah tops Liverpool's list for the top scorer in the domestic and international competitions as he netted 29 goals in 46 matches.
"Liverpool were not good team this season, but Salah proved that he was the best player in the team this seasom as he helped the Reds by scoring several goals this season," he added.
The Egyptian moved level with Dick Forshaw’s tally of 123 in Liverpool’s all-time leading goalscorers list last weekend with his clinical strike against Newcastle United.
Now in his fourth campaign at Anfield, Salah’s 123 goals have come in 198 appearances.
