Snowfall in Pakistan Leaves 105 Dead, 96 Injured

Pakistan's National Disaster Management Authority said that 105 people have died across the country due to the heavy snowfall and rains.

The authority added that 96 people were injured due to this wave of snow, Pakistani news television network, Samaa TV, reported on Saturday.

A spokesman for Pakistan's National Disaster Management Authority said that 1295 houses were severely damaged by the snowfall, which also led to the closure of several roads in the provinces.

Meanwhile, Pakistani officials announced the death toll from Monday's avalanche in Neelum Valley, has risen to 74.
