President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi said that the world is facing serious and complex challenges that threaten development, stressing the urgent need for intensified international efforts to confront them amid rapidly changing global conditions.

Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, the Egyptian president noted that the forum provides an important platform for in-depth discussions on pressing global issues, emphasizing that the exchange of ideas and experiences among world leaders, policymakers, and business representatives helps shape practical solutions that support sustainable development paths.

El-Sisi affirmed that Egypt continues to prioritize building strong regional and international partnerships, highlighting the country’s commitment to expanding cooperation in a way that achieves mutual interests and promotes shared growth.

He also underlined that lasting peace and development can only be achieved through dialogue, international cooperation, and peaceful coexistence, stressing the importance of respecting international law and resolving disputes through diplomatic and peaceful means.

The president concluded by reiterating Egypt’s belief that cooperation—not confrontation—is the foundation for stability, prosperity, and inclusive development in an increasingly interconnected world.
