Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi is set to participate, later today, in the openning session of the Summit for a New Global Financial Pact, according to Presidential Spokesman Ahmed Fahmy.
The spokesman said that this summit is being held on a French initiative with the participation of a number of heads of state and government of developing and developed countries.
Moreover, he added that It aims to address the structural imbalances that exist in the global financing system.
He also stressed that there is a consensus of all countries, whether developed or developing, on the existence of a real, complex and cumulative crisis that began with the Corona pandemic and its current accumulated repercussions and effects, then the Russian-Ukrainian crisis, which led to severe deficiencies in supply chains and the global food market.
