Moments ago, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi arrived at the conference hall where the African Anti-Corruption Forum (AACF) is scheduled to take place shortly. He received foreign leaders and distinguished guests who were invited to attend.

The 2-day forum comes as a sustainable dialogue platform between the countries of the continent to exchange views and expertise on efficient national measures in fighting corruption, as well as preserving the continental and international commitments in this regard.

The attendees will discuss as well ways to boosting human capabilities in all fields and enhancing governmental coordination in combating corruption.

Earlier, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady said the forum is held upon an initiative launched by President El-Sisi in January 2018 during his participation in the 30th Ordinary Session of the African Union (AU) Summit in Addis Ababa under the theme: "Winning the Fight Against Corruption: A Sustainable Path to Africa's Transformation."
