Sisi: Move to NAC Heralds New Era of Modern Government Work

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met on Saturday Prime Minister (PM) Mostafa Madbouly, and Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Presidency spokesman Bassam Rady said.

 

The meeting was attended by Eng. Ahmed Zaki Abdin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the New Administrative Capital (NAC), Maj. Gen. Ihab El-Far, Chairman of the Engineering Authority for the Armed Forces, and Maj. Gen. Yasser Abu Mandour, Director of Systems and Information Department of the Armed Forces.

 

The spokesman said that the meeting reviewed the latest developments regarding the executive position of the ICT infrastructure of the government district at the NAC.

 

In this regard, the President directed the completion of all aspects related to ICT infrastructure of the government district and to ascertain the performance and readiness of its various components before the actual transfer to the NAC, in a way that heralds the start of a new era of modern government work and distinguished services for citizens.

 

The meeting also tackled the latest updates regarding the government's transfer plan to NAC, including the unified data centers and technological equipment of government district buildings, such as data transmission networks, visual and audio equipment, surveillance cameras, and electronic gates to control entry and exit for inpiduals and vehicles, as well as mobile service networks' coverage.
