Egypt`s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met Sunday with the heads of the major American companies on sidelines of the United Nation General Assembly 74th session (UNGA74).
During the meeting, they discussed ways of enhancing economic cooperation between the two countries.
The discussion was held during a dinner banquet hosted by the American Chamber of Commerce in honor of the president.
The dinner was attended by the First Vice President of the American Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of the American-Egyptian Business Council, and a large number of heads and leaders of major American companies.

The president stressed that the economic reform program implemented in cooperation with the International Monetary Fund has been prepared according to the Egyptian national requirements. The successful implementation of the program and the positive results that exceeded the expectations are due to the determination and strength of the will of the great Egyptian people.
In this context, he stressed Egypt's continuation in the path of comprehensive reform. Egypt aims to achieve sustainable development and improving the standard of living and quality of life of citizens.
The president expressed Egypt's aspiration to increase the contribution of American companies in the development process in Egypt.
