Sisi, King Abdullah II Tackle Palestinian Developments: Rady

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi discussed Palestinian issue developments, in a phone call this evening, Sunday, with King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein of Jordan, according to Presidency Spokesperson Bassam Rady.

Rady said that that the two leaders discussed some issues of bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, especially those related to enhancing trade exchange and cooperation in the field of energy and electrical connectivity.”

Sisi and King Abdullah II also exchanged views on developments in a number of regional issues. 

“The two leaders agreed to maintain mutual efforts to settle the existing crises in a number of regional countries with the support of their national institutions so as to restore security and stability,” Rady added.

The developments of the Palestinian issue were also reviewed during the call; views were exchanged on how to resolve the current situation regarding the Middle East peace process and push forward efforts to resume the negotiations process.

It's noteworthy that Sisi will hold a summit with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Abu Mazen, tomorrow, Monday, in Cairo.
