A tripartite summit was held on Tuesday in the Jordanian capital, Amman, between President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, the King of the Kingdom of Jordan, King Abdullah II, and the Prime Minister of Iraq Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, according to Egyptian Presidency Spokesperson Bassam Rady.
Rady stated that the summit tackled ways to enhance joint tripartite cooperation in various fields between the three countries, especially those related to energy, electrical connectivity, infrastructure and food, as well as consultation and coordination on developments in political and security situations in the region, and efforts to combat terrorism.

The three leaders also addressed aspects of enhancing economic, commercial, and investment cooperation, with the aim of establishing the next stage of strategic integration between the three countries, based on common development goals.
During the summit, President Sisi affirmed Egypt's readiness to present its experience and expertise in all fields to its brothers in Jordan and Iraq, as well as to establish specific joint development projects to be implemented according to a tight schedule that have a direct and rapid impact on the development process and the citizens' living life, in addition to strengthening political cooperation paths and security.
"The summit touched on the most prominent regional issues and files of common interest, as President Sisi stressed the importance of concerted efforts to face the challenges that threaten stability and security in the region," Rady added.

Moreover, the summit also dealt with developments of the Palestinian issue, where the three leaders affirmed the support of the Palestinian people to obtain their full legitimate rights in accordance with the relevant international legitimacy resolutions.
Thus, Sisi, King Abdullah II, and Iraq's Kadhimi also discussed developments in Syria, Libya, and Yemen.
