In his word, during the inauguration of a number of 'Digital Egypt' projects, via video conference, Sisi underlined the importance of spreading modern technology knowledge, praising "Al-Abakera" (The Geniuses) TV program which includes competitions among universities in public information.

Moreover, the President urged media outlets to pay more attention to programs that highlight young talents in the Information Technology (IT) field.

He also highlighted the need for finding and developing ideas to increase revenues, income, and wealth for both citizens and the homeland away from traditional methods which are now insufficient.

On Wednesday, Sisi witnessed the inauguration of a number of 'Digital Egypt' projects, which are affiliated with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, at El-Manara International Conference Centre in the Fifth Settlement.

The projects include the Digital Egypt Platform, which will provide e-services for all people.

El-Sisi said the launch of the platform emanates from the need for establishing a modern, contemporary, and digital state.

It also comes in line with Egypt’s 2030 Vision and the country’s strategy for achieving digital transformation.
