President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met, on Monday, with Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on the sidelines of their participation in the Extraordinary Arab-Islamic Summit in Doha.
Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, official presidential Spokesman stated that the Iranian President began the meeting by reiterating his gratitude and appreciation for Egypt’s pivotal role in facilitating negotiations between Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
He added that, these efforts led to the signing of the agreement to resume cooperation between Iran and the Agency, which took place in Cairo on September 9, 2025.
