Sisi Instructs Gov't to Develop Quarries Nationwide

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi directed on Sunday the government to develop quarries across the country, in accordance with a unified central mechanism, according to Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady.

This mechanism should achieve governance and establishes clear principles for the relationship between investors and the State.

Sisi's remarks came during his meeting with Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli, Presidential Adviser for National and Strategic Projects Sherif Ismail, Petroleum Minister Tareq El Molla, Local Development Minister Mahmoud Shaarawy, Chairman of the National Company for Road Construction and Development Major General Magdy Anwar, and Chairman of the Egyptian Company for Mining, Management and Exploitation of Quarries and Salines Major General El Sayed El Bous.

The meeting tackled the State's efforts to develop quarries nationwide, as well as the national project to convert cars to run on natural gas.

The president also instructed the government to increase the number of gas stations across the country
