Egypt's Presidency Spokesman, Bassam Radi said  that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi will witness the launching of the Digital Egypt platform, as well as the inauguration of a number of projects via video conference.

Among these projects are submarine cable stations in Ras Ghareb, Zaafarana, and Sidi Kerir.

The International Data Center in Cairo, Telecom Egypt Schools for Applied Technology, Egypt's Digital Innovation Centers, and the development of the Egyptian Post Museum will also be inaugurated.

Radi also said that the president will witness the activities of the dialogue session for young people participating in initiatives and beneficiaries of grants from the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.

On Monday, Sisi received a phone call from the head of the Presidential Council of Libya, Mohammed Al-Menfi, to discuss the Libyan situation.

In a statement, the presidential spokesperson said Al-Menfi thanked Egypt for its “sincere support” for his country, especially in contributing toward the restoration of national institutions, the unification of the Libyan National Army, and the sharing of redevelopment expertise.

Both leaders agreed that holding elections and the withdrawal of all foreign forces from the country was the only way to settle the current situation and implement a political settlement.
