Sisi Honors Egypt's U-23 Football National Team

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi honored on Saturday the U-23 national football national team, who qualified for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games and claimed the U-23 Africa Cup of Nations title.

Sisi also received the female and male players along with the athletic coaches, who claimed the African and global championships titles.

Those, who were honored by the Egyptian President, are Egypt's U-23 national football team, the national Karate team, the Squash team, as well as the Paralympic team.

This happened in the presence of Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly, and Egypt's Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Ashraf Sobhy.

"President Sisi hailed the achievements by those athletes and their contributions to strengthening Egypt's stance in the regional and international sporting arena," Presidential Spokesperson Bassam Rady said.
