During a joint press conference with his Kenyan counterpart, who is currently visiting Egypt, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi reaffirmed Egypt’s longstanding and unwavering stance on the Palestinian issue.

He emphasized that Egypt's commitment to its historical principles was non-negotiable. The President also underscored Egypt’s determination to collaborate with US President Donald Trump in pursuit of a just and lasting peace based on a two-state solution.

President El-Sisi categorically rejected the forced displacement of Palestinians, asserting that any attempt to relocate them to Egypt would constitute a direct threat to both Egyptian and broader Arab national security.

Fatah Spokesperson, Abdel Fattah Douleh, expressed profound gratitude to the Egyptian leadership and people for their steadfast support of the Palestinian cause.

He has highlighted that Egypt’s principled stance is in harmony with that of the Palestinian state, which categorically rejects any forced displacement of its people or uprooting from their homeland.

Addressing the Palestinian public, Douleh urged internal unity around a unified national stance, emphasizing the need for an independent Palestinian decision under the framework of a legitimate Palestinian leadership. He stressed that such unity was essential in confronting the displacement schemes promoted by the occupying power and its allies.

Palestinian political analyst Ahmed Zakarnah emphasized that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s unequivocal rejection of Palestinian displacement was a testament to Egypt’s long-standing and principled stance on the Palestinian issue. He highlighted that Egypt viewed forced displacement as an act of injustice in which it refused to take part, stressing that the true solution lied in humanitarian aid and reconstruction rather than the forced relocation of Palestinians.

Zakarnah underscored that the Palestinian people were fully aware of Egypt’s unwavering support for their legitimate rights—a commitment that had seen Egypt engage in over four wars and legal battles in defense of the Palestinian cause.

Head of the League of Arab States’ mission to the United Nations, Ambassador Majed Abdel Fattah, affirmed that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s statements were a clear reflection of Egypt’s and the broader Arab world’s firm and long-standing rejection of the forced displacement of the Palestinian people. This position has been consistently upheld for years and continues to be reinforced through Egypt’s active engagement in the international coalition advocating for a two-state solution—an alliance that includes 138 countries, the European Union, the League of Arab States, and other influential entities.

Abdel Fattah underscored that any attempts to forcibly displace Palestinians—whether to Egypt, Jordan, or any other location—were destined to fail. He stressed that such efforts lacked legitimacy under international law and, as a result, cannot serve as a viable or lawful basis for resolving the crisis.

Dr. Tarek Fahmy, a professor of political science, emphasized that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s statements had strategically propelled the Palestinian issue into the global spotlight, reinforcing the urgency of a two-state solution. He noted that the President’s proactive stance ensured that the matter received the international attention it deserved.

Echoing this perspective, Dr. Abdel Moneim Said, writer and political analyst, stressed that El-Sisi’s approach extended beyond simply rejecting forced displacement. By underscoring the need to steer the region toward a sustainable peace process, the President effectively broadened the discourse—a vision that, according to Said, requires strong backing from the United States to be realized.
