President Abdel Fatah El Sisi and First Lady Entisar Amer wished all Egyptians a happy 1443 Hijri year, the Islamic New Year, which started today, Monday.
"I extend my sincere congratulations to the Egyptian people and the Islamic nation on the occasion of the new Hijri year," Sisi posted on his official social accounts.
Egypt’s First Lady also extended greetings to Egyptians and the Muslim nation on Islamic New Year.
"Many happy returns of the day, great people of Egypt and the Arab and Muslim nation at large. Many a time, may the blessed occasion bring along ultimate goodness and blessings.”
