President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and King Frederik X of Denmark inaugurated the Egyptian-Danish Economic Conference, Friday, in the Danish capital, Copenhagen, as part of President Sisi's state visit to Denmark.
The official spokesman for the presidency stated that the president and the King of Denmark launched the business council between the two countries, in the presence of a number of businessmen and CEOs of a number of Egyptian and Danish companies.
President Sisi also expressed his appreciation and respect for the Danish business community for its role in promoting cooperation between our two countries and achieving our common goals.
He said that the recent period has witnessed successive regional and international challenges that have had repercussions that have affected Egypt, like many countries in the world, which prompted the Egyptian government to adopt a bold economic plan to provide a favorable environment for attracting foreign investments, empowering the private sector, and providing job opportunities. Based on this, and on the measures taken, the Egyptian economy has succeeded in facing the difficult stage, which has been positively reflected in economic indicators and the improvement of the country's credit rating.
