They also exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.

Sisi and MBZ agreed to continue coordination and consultation between the two sides to serve the interest of both countries and peoples in addition to supporting security and stability in the region.

During his talks with Sisi in April, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi praised Egypt’s pivotal and firm role as a fundamental pillar for security and stability in the region.

The Crown Prince expressed his sincere appreciation for the warm reception of Sisi; exchanging congratulations with the Egyptian president on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, wishing Egypt and its people continued prosperity and progress.

Moreover, he affirmed that visit to Egypt comes as a continuation of the course of close and distinguished relations that bind the two countries, government, and people.

“Sisi welcomed bin Zayed; extending his congratulations on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, stressing Egyptian-UAE historical relations and ties,” said Presidency Spokesperson Bassam Rady.

“The two leaders agreed to maximize the Egyptian-UAE cooperation and coordination as a basic pillar to protect Arab national security and to confront foreign interference in other countries’ domestic affairs.
