Sisi Congratulates Trump on His Re-Election, Invites Him to Visit Egypt

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received on Saturday a phone call from U.S. President Donald Trump.

Official Presidential Spokesman stated President Sisi congratulated Trump once again on his re-election for a second term, highlighting the great confidence he enjoys among the American people and recognizing his leadership abilities.

During the call, President El-Sisi also extended an invitation to President Trump to visit Egypt at the earliest opportunity, to strengthen the strategic partnership between the two countries, and discuss the complex issues and crises facing the Middle East, contributing to the region's stability.

Additionally, President Sisi invited Trump to attend the grand opening of the new Egyptian museum.

For his part, President Trump extended an open invitation to President El-Sisi to visit Washington and meet with him at the White House.

The call also covered bilateral, regional, and international issues, emphasizing the strategic relations between the two countries and the need to enhance economic and investment ties.

Both leaders also discussed cooperation on water security and reaffirmed their commitment to achieving peace and stability in the Middle East.
