President Abdel Fattah El Sisi appreciated what he termed “heroic behavior” of the national soccer team in its first clash with Uruguay the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
In a Facebook post on Friday, Sisi voiced support to the football squad, saying "I'm confident in our players' ability to achieve victories in their coming matches."
