Sisi Asks to Develop 1000 Villages Nationwide

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met Saturday with Major General Amir Sayed Ahmed, Advisor to the President for Urban Planning and discussed “the executive plan for the national project to develop 1000 villages nationwide."

The Spokesman for the Presidency, Bassam Rady, said that the president asked for the crystallization of the national project to develop the 1,000 villages nationwide.

“This comes within the framework of sustainable development that targets the Egyptian countryside to raise the capabilities of the infrastructure of these villages in all aspects of service and society to change the reality of life for the citizens of those villages to the better and in a comprehensive manner,” Rady added.

The meeting witnessed a review of the details of the general plan of the national project to raise the efficiency of 1000 villages distributed over most of the geographical areas of about 22 governorates nationwide, including 50 capital cities in those governorates.
