Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan toured the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday, during a meeting aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation and exchanging views on advanced technology and innovation.
According to Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, the two leaders conducted an on-site tour of the university, where President el-Sisi was briefed on its facilities, academic departments and the structure of its specialised programmes. The visit also showcased the university’s cutting-edge research and innovations in artificial intelligence and advanced technologies.
The briefing highlighted how the university’s academic and research ecosystem supports the UAE’s national objectives in artificial intelligence, innovation and future technologies, and contributes to building advanced digital capabilities across multiple sectors.
The visit underscored the importance both countries place on investing in knowledge, education and emerging technologies, as well as expanding cooperation in fields linked to AI, digital transformation and human capital development.
