President Abdel Fattah El Sisi said Monday that the celebration of the Police Day coincides with the anniversary of the January 25 revolution, led by sincere youth looking for a better future and reality.
“I say to the youth of Egypt that your country needs your sincere efforts to complete the path of reform, construction and development, and to achieve the hopes of Egyptians in a bright future that provides all citizens have equal opportunities in a decent life,” Sisi added.
During his speech at the Police Day celebration, President Sisi noted that “To all loyal police officers, I send a message of appreciation and gratitude to the policemen who are keen on Egypt’s security as they continue their effort, giving and sacrifice to fulfill the great message of preserving the nation’s security and stability.”
On Monday, he attended a celebration held to mark the 69th anniversary of Police Day.
He also honored a number of police martyrs’ families, during a celebration held to mark the 69th anniversary of Police Day and bestowed the Order of Excellence, first and third classes, on idol police officers.
