There is a global debate today about whether is it necessary to maintain and develop ChatGPT platforms or not.

It falls within the framework of endless artificial intelligence and the creation of non-human minds that are smarter, superior to us, and replace us.

These platforms collect and store personal data for 'training' the platform's operating algorithms...

Personally, as a university professor who deals with a doctoral thesis and the end of a research study at the university, I am against the development of these systems because we will contribute to introducing a generation of researchers who are incapable of understanding, explaining, theorizing, and creativity...

Because a doctoral thesis author, for example, in international relations and political science, who is working on the new international order, the new Russian strategic doctrine, constitutional systems in Africa, or the issue of separation of powers, can research these topics on the platform and request a specific number of pages.

The platform will provide them with ready and accurate pieces that are subject to academic and scientific rules.

The same can be said in the fields of medicine, biology, etc.

What is even worse is that ChatGPT can be used to write informational codes without the possession of technical knowledge.

And we, the educationist, will not find any escape from accepting these works, because if you search using all the information systems related to plagiarism, you will find these researches free of copying as if they were written by students and researchers; the result, of course, will be devastating to societies, undermine the foundations of universities, and will stop millions of people from using their minds and hard working as well lead to people who have nothing to do with scientific research or development entering the intellectual market, who are unable to carry the intellectual torch and scientific guidance from us.

In the end, they will easily pass and will have diplomas that do not mirror the requirements.

We must not forget that such platforms will increase the risk of electronic deception, the spread of misinformation, and cybercrime.

In this case, we understand why the American billionaire Elon Musk and a number of artificial intelligence experts and executives called in an open letter, signed by more than a thousand people, for a six-month pause in developing systems more powerful than OpenAI's recently launched ChatGBT chatbot, citing the potential risks of such applications to society.

The open letter issued by the Future Institute of Life — funded by the Musk Foundation, the London-based Founders Pledge and the Silicon Valley Community Foundation — also pointed out that powerful AI systems should be developed only once confident that their effects will be positive and their risks will be retained.

We also understand why some countries began to ban these platforms from their countries, such as Italy, which justified the banned as a result of not respecting the legislation related to personal data and not having a system for verifying the age of minor users....
