Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shoukry said that what was presented today in the Economic Forum proves Egypt's and the Czech Republic's desire to cooperate in new fields.

During the press conference, The Minister of Foreign Affairs added: "We discussed regional issues in Syria, Iraq, Yemen, the Palestinian cause and efforts to achieve a comprehensive peace in the Middle East and the Eastern Mediterranean, and there was a common understanding of the challenges facing the region."

"We are ready for this productive dialogue for achieving the common interest within the framework of mutual respect and non-interference in internal affairs," Shoukry noted.

Shoukry and his Czech counterpart Jacob Kolhanek attended the Egyptian-Czech Business Forum to discuss supporting investment and other issues between the two friendly countries.

It is worth mentioning that Czech FM arrived in Cairo earlier Sunday, in a two-day visit.
