Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry welcomed, Thursday, Madagascar’s Foreign Minister Patrick Rajoelina to discuss ways of enhancing bilateral cooperation.

The two top diplomats will “discuss ways of enhancing bilateral cooperation and issues of mutual concern as well as coordination concerning the upcoming summit of COMESA hosted by Egypt on Nov 23, during which it will assume the chairmanship from Madagascar,” Ahmed Hafez, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Egypt, said on Twitter.
On a separate note, Shoukry delivered his speech at the opening of the US-Egypt Strategic Dialogue in which he welcomed the outcomes of the dialogue between the two countries. He highlighted the huge potentials for developing relations between the two countries in various fields.
In his speech at the conclusion of the closing session of the strategic dialogue between Egypt and the United States, the foreign minister expressed the need to work on implementing what was agreed upon during the working sessions between the Egyptian and American delegations.
