Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry discussed today, Wednesday, with Irish Minister of Foreign Affairs and Defense Simon Coveney, bilateral relations between Egypt and Ireland and ways to enhance them, on the sidelines of the meetings of the current session of the United Nations General Assembly.
Ambassador Ahmed Hafez, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said that the two ministers also discussed a number of international and regional issues of common concern, in light of Ireland's current presidency of the Security Council.
