Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry said that Egypt attaches great importance to the Aswan Forum for Sustainable Peace and Development in proposing solutions to the continent's problems, noting that the international community is witnessing exceptional and unprecedented political developments in light of many negative developments, foremost of which is the global food crisis.
During his speech at the third session of the Aswan Forum for Sustainable Peace and Development, the Minister of Foreign Affairs added that Egypt's vision for facing challenges is based on the importance of persifying sources of food to reach the stage of self-sufficiency.
Noteworthy, the third edition of the Aswan Forum for Sustainable Peace and Development kicked off on Monday in Cairo and focuses on climate and security issues in Africa.
