Ambassador Ahmed Abu Zeid, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said that Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry will head today, Wednesday, to the French capital, Paris, to head the Egyptian delegation participating in the Paris conference on the humanitarian situation in Gaza, on behalf of the President of the Republic.
The conference is scheduled to be held next Thursday.
The Foreign Ministry spokesman explained that Shoukry is scheduled to deliver Egypt’s speech before the conference, which will focus on addressing the deteriorating humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip, and Egyptian efforts to deal with the humanitarian situation in the Strip, as well as emphasizing the need to mobilize international efforts to provide humanitarian and relief aid to Gaza.
