Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry is heading to the Jordanian capital, Amman, on Wednesday to discuss the latest developments of the Palestinian issue, according to Foreign Ministry’s Spokesperson Ahmed Hafez.
Shoukry is expected to take part in a meeting tomorrow, Thursday, along with the foreign ministers of Jordan, Germany, and France.

“The quadripartite ministerial meeting will focus on exchanging views on the current status of the Middle East peace process and its consequences,” Hafez said in an official statement issued Wednesday afternoon.
The four officials will also discuss ways to advance the resumption of the peace process so as to reach a comprehensive and just political settlement of the Palestinian issue based on the principle of the two-state solution.
Hafez noted that Shoukry will also hold a number of bilateral talks during the visit to discuss the most prominent regional issues, stressing that the Egyptian minister will discuss the most important aspects of bilateral relations between Egypt on one side and Jordan, Germany and France on the other side.
