On Sunday, WWE Superstar Shinsuke Nakamura trended worldwide after his stunning appearance at "The New Year," the biggest Pay-Per-View of the Japanese pro-wrestling promotion NOAH.
Nakamura stepped inside the ring with a breathtaking entrance of his WWE theme performed by traditional Japanese drums and violin.

Moreover, the 42-year-old superstar showed deep emotions as the show was a return to Japan. He didn't compete in his homeland since signing with the US-based promotion WWE.

The scheduled match was between Nakamura and his idol, Great Muta, who is conducting a final tour before retirement.
The match was the final single contest for Muta, before having two tag team actions to hang up his boots.
During the contest, Nakamura revealed a forgotten side of his strong-style performance and techniques as his style changed somehow inside WWE rings, in addition, they presented a strong storytelling form.
Muta used his red and green mist on Nakamura, on the other hand, Nakamura removed the mist from the mouth of Muta, and sprayed it back on him, executing ‘Kinshasa’ to capture the victory.
Nakamura went into tears after defeating Muta, repeating his thanks to the idol before his retirement.

After the show, Nakamura said: " “The more I say the words, the more the emotion that I received from myself will fade away. I have been killing for this feeling for a long time. As a professional I can't stop, really. Thank you for the miracle.”
