Egyptian superstar Sherine Abdel-Wahab is finally gearing up to release new music.

In a recent interview, she delivered a message to her fans and acknowledged how extremely patient amidst their wait for her new music.

“I know that you have been with me, but I have prepared for you a list of five of the most beautiful songs, and we will soon reveal the music production company that will release them," Sherine said

She also stated that her upcoming concert in Saudi Arabia will be held soon under the title “Voice of the Arabs.”

The gig is coming after the singer's recent performance at the Nov.3o star-studded event in Saudi Arabia.

The event was held under the title "Rawaea El Sonbaty", celebrating Egyptian iconic composer and musician Riad El Sonbaty.

It also featured performances by Mai Farouk, Reham Abd Elhakim, Eman Abd Elghani, Fouad Zbadi Saber Rebai, and Ahmed Saad.

Sherine, born on October 8, 1980, was first discovered as a child by her music teacher at school, who convinced her mother to take her to the Cairo Opera House to meet veteran musician Selim Sahab.

The acclaimed singer auditioned in front of him, who liked her voice a lot. She had served as a choral member at the Cairo Opera House from the age of nine to twelve and then was given a chance to become a solo singer.

She kept performing at the Cairo Opera House while looking for a music producer to launch her professional career.

Sherine, 18, was introduced to director and music producer Nasr Mahrous, who liked her talented voice and decided to collaborate with her via “Free Music” production company, where she met with superstar, Tamer Hosny, who was also a new talent seeking an opportunity. Her first recorded song was released in 2002 as a part of an album that included works of other artists.

The album was released, under the title “Free Mix3: Tamer and Sherine” and was a big hit all across the entire Middle East and North Africa. The album sold more than 20 Million copies across the whole MENA.

It was a big hit, particularly because of her single “Ah ya Leil”, which boosted her fame.
