Shawn Michaels Announces NXT Iron Survivor Lineup

On Wednesday, NXT SVP and the Senior Vice President of Talent Development  Shawn Michaels announced the lineup of the first-ever Iron Survivor matches.

Michaels hosted a panel of WWE Hall of Famers to select the participants for the newly adapted format. It included  Road Dogg, X-Pac, Molly Holly, and Alundra Blayze, alongside NXT's SVP.

Regarding the men's match, Road Dogg and X-Pac recommended Carmelo Hayes, and the suggestion was approved by the rest of the members.

Blayze suggested Tony D'Angelo, however, Michaels commented that the athlete is not ready for it, adding that he needs sometimes to protect superstars from themselves. 

X-Pac recommended JD McDonagh, and everyone agreed. Molly Holly named Joe Gacy, and Road Dogg agreed. 

In addition, Road Dogg brought up Von Wagner before he and X-Pac suggested Axiom, but they weren’t sure if he was ready for it. Grayson Waller’s name was also discussed.

So, the participants of the match are Carmelo Hayes, JD McDonagh, Grayson Waller, and Joe Gacy.

However, the final member will be selected after a Wild Card match between Von Wagner, Axiom, and Andre Chase. 

Regarding the women's match, Blayze selected Roxanne Perez, while Road Dogg named Zoey Stark. 

Molly Holly mentioned Indi Hartwell, in addition, the names of Cora Jade, Kiana James, and Fallon Henley were discussed. 

Molly Holly suggested Alba Fyre adding that she’s the best worker on the roster. 

The final names of the participants are Zoey Stark, Cora Jade, Roxanne Perez, and Kiana James.

The fifth member will be selected after a Wild Card match between Wendy Choo, Fallon Henley, and Indi Hartwell.
