Spanish football legend Sergio Ramos is reportedly set to become the new owner of Sevilla FC, according to reports from journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The deal is said to be in its final stages, with only minor details remaining before the official announcement. Reports indicate that Ramos’ brother, René Ramos, played a major role in overseeing the negotiations and completing the agreement.
Sevilla holds special significance for Ramos, who came through the club’s academy and made his senior debut in 2002 before joining Real Madrid in 2005. He later returned to Sevilla for a brief spell in 2024 before leaving as a free agent.
The reported takeover marks a major new chapter in Ramos’ career, transitioning from club legend to potential club owner at his boyhood team.
