Senegal to Face Mozambique Tonight in Africa U-20 Cup of Nations

On Wednesday, the Senegalese U-20 national football team will face Mozambique in the second-round fixtures of the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations group stage.

Senegal are now at the top of Group A, which includes Egypt, after beating Nigeria in the first round.

While Egypt and Mozambique's game was held to a goalless draw. 

The Lions of Teranga target capture the forthcoming game's three points to qualify for the knockout stage.

In the same context, Egypt will face Nigeria in an attempt for collecting more points to secure a place in the knockouts. 

Last Sunday, the competitions of the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations kicked off in Egypt. The events of the tournament are taking place between February 19 to March 11. In addition, three Egyptian cities will hot the 3-group championship fixtures.

Cairo hosts Group A teams: Egypt, Nigeria, Mampeque, and Senegal. Cairo International Stadium is the main playground for Group A fixtures.

Regarding Group B, the teams are hosted in Ismailia, and Suez Canal Stadium is the central venue for the group's fixture. It includes Uganda, Congo, South Sudan, Central African Republic.

Finally, Group C teams are based in Alexandria, and the city's most prestigious and oldest stadium will host their games. The group's teams are Gambia, Benin, Zambia, and Tunisia.
