Senegal's national team became the first African team to qualify for the 2021 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) after defeating Guinea-Bissau (1-0) on Sunday.

The last edition runner-up has now 12 points, topping its group after winning their first four rounds.

Senegal are now at the top of the group, with six point advantage above DR Gongo, who are in the second spot with 6 points.

Liverpool star Sadio Mane scored the only goal of the match in the 82nd minute to lead his team to the AFCON.

The groups winners and the runner-ups will qualify automatically to the tournament, to be held in Cameroon. 24 teams will participate in the Africa's famous sports events.
