See How Egyptians Turned Cairo Rains into Jokes

Being an Egyptian means that you have the ability to crack a laugh out of every disaster as was the case with Cairo rains that flooded Cairo yesterday.

Egyptians tend to use sarcasm in reacting to what’s happening around us. It’s simply due to the fact that we Egyptians are unbeatable!!

They have a lot of disasters in our life from explosions to rains and other dramatic events that suppose to make us feel sad. But due to our nature as Egyptians, we manage to somehow turn those disasters into jokes.

Here is an example of Egyptians’ way of reacting to the natural phenomena of rainfalls that hit Nasr City and Heliopolis districts in Cairo yesterday and is expected to remain until today.

It is noteworthy that over the past few hours, various parts of ​​Egypt have been hit by heavy rains.

According to the EMA experts, greater Cairo witnessed heavy rain in several areas, most notably Faisal, New Cairo, 6 October, amid continued drop in temperatures throughout the country.

On Wednesday, the EMA revealed that the weather forecast would be partly cloudy with slight chance of rainfalls (precipitation 56%) with widely scattered thunderstorms.

After a day of drenching rainfall, stormy weather, accompanied by thunderstorm in the form of a cold front, cold weather swept the country, accompanied by rainfall on the northern coasts, Delta, Cairo and Sinai extending to the north of Upper Egypt and south of the cities of Hala’ib and Shalateen.

A representative of the meteorology authority Ibrahim Atta said that low temperatures would continue to sweep all Egyptian cities.
