On Tuesday, it was reported that one person was killed and three others injured, including two in critical condition, in a collision between two aircraft in Arizona, According to Scottsdale Fire Department Captain Dave Folio.
Therefore, Scottsdale Airport suspended all flights, according to news channels.
The business jet is owned by Mötley Crüe singer Vince Neil and it veered off the runway into a parked aircraft.
It occurred around 2:39 p.m.
Scottsdale Airport’s Aviation Planning and Outreach Coordinator Kelli Kuester told reporters that “it appears that the left main [landing] gear failed upon landing,” resulting in the accident.
Folio said the fire department was still working to recover the body of the person killed in the collision.
Kuester said the airport’s runway will be closed “for the foreseeable future.”
The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the reasons behind the accident.
