Saudi King Congratulates Iran's New President

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, sent a congratulatory message to Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian on the occasion of his victory in the presidential elections in Iran, expressing the Kingdom's hope to continue developing relations between the two countries and to maintain coordination and consultation to enhance regional and international security and peace, according to "Okaz."

"On the occasion of your victory in the presidential elections of the Islamic Republic of Iran, we are pleased to extend to Your Excellency our sincerest congratulations and best wishes for your success," Saudi King said in his message.

"We look forward to continuing the development of the relations that bind our two brotherly countries and peoples and to maintaining coordination and consultation to enhance regional and international security and peace. We wish Your Excellency good health and happiness, and further progress and prosperity to the brotherly people of the Islamic Republic of Iran," he added.
