On Tuesday, Saudi Pro League side Jeddah's Al-Ahli officially signed Brazilian player Alexander from Fluminense.
It is the first signing of the club for a player born in 2003 during the ongoing summer transfer window.
Alexander said: "Some decisions require careful thought and no hesitation. In Brazil, football is in our blood, and the roar of the crowd is our fuel on the pitch. I've seen Al-Ahli's fans and their support for the players; they remind me of the stands in Brazil in every way, which is why I decided to be here."
The Brazilian concluded: "Let's create achievements together."
Alexander is expected to be part of the squad for their Saudi Pro League opening fixture against Al-Orobah on Friday.
