Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan discussed the latest regional and international developments with his Iraqi counterpart, Fuad Hussein, in a phone call on Thursday.
The two ministers also discussed the latest developments in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, the relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them in all fields, according to Saudi news channel (Al-Ekhbariya).
Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein said that the course of negotiations with Washington on the withdrawal of American troops from Iraq has stopped, but the dialogue on it continues.
He stressed that the decision to withdraw or schedule the withdrawal will be made after the completion of the negotiations.
In a special interview with Al-Arabiya Al-Hadath channel, Hussein explained that the recent events on Iraqi soil are unacceptable, as there have been attacks and counterattacks.
