Saudi Embassy Reveals Investigations' Results on Dead Man in Cairo

The Saudi Embassy in Cairo revealed on Friday details about the case of killing a Saudi citizen in Cairo.

In statements to Okaz Newspaper, the embassy said that the Egyptian security forces immediately investigated the crime and arrested two suspects who deliberated to kill Rajeh Al Harthi.

The security forces seized a sum of money and two mobiles which belong to the dead man.

"According to the investigations, the two suspects committed the crime for theft," the embassy noted.

The Egyptian general prosecution continues the investigations into the case in preparations for bringing the perpetrators to trial.

The Saudi embassy thanked the Egyptian forces for their quick response and arresting the perpetrators in less than 24 hours, adding it will continue following up the case.

It extended his deepest condolences to the dead man's family.

The crime was committed in New Nozha in Masr Al Jadidah district, eastern Cairo when two men stabbed the Saudi citizen to death.

The Saudi tweets interacted with the incident, expressing their great sorrow at the death of the man.
