Making jewelry is a beautiful art that has many elegant types that depend on different techniques and steps like the soutache art which goes back to the fourteenth century when aristocratic women used it on their clothes and dresses.

*Magnificence of Design

Each and every piece of jewelry requires hours to work on the design, choose the stones and their sizes, choose the thread colors and material whether it is silk or cotton. The stones are installed in a professional and artistic way. "Also, the finishing has to be immaculate so that the piece’s back is just as clean as its front," says the designer.

*Drawing and designing Steps

The designer draws the design before taking her time in arranging the stones, choosing them and picking the thread’s colors and shades. She also takes a cloth base to install the stones with the transparent thread before lining the design.

Sarraj confirms that jewelry is an elegant art that adds quality and style to the clothes, adding that it is a smart solution to renew women’s clothes seeing as it can change the entire look. If a black plain dress is worn with a soutache necklace or colorful earrings, its whole style will change. The designer also installed soutache jewelry on dresses, bags and sandals, not to mention her earrings, necklaces and bracelets. She loves this art because it aids women in being fashionable and elegant.

*Stones and Crystals

Sarraj says she uses a lot of stones like turquoise, onyx and sometimes even crystals because they match the night celebrations. About the art of color matching, she says that she depends on more than 100 colors of stones and threads together to satisfy her artistic sense.
