Saudi Defense Minister Khalid bin Salman received a phone call on Thursday from US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, as the two parties reviewed ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.
The Saudi Ministry of Defense said in a statement: “During the call, they reviewed bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways to strengthen them in the defense field.”
It added: "The call touched on the current situations and their developments at the regional and international levels."
