The Guests of God Service Program in Saudi Arabia announced its plan to host 15 million pilgrims in 2025, with a focus on expanding the infrastructure, digitizing and developing services with the highest standards, according to Okaz.
He explained that these efforts aim to meet the needs of the guests of the Holy House, taking advantage of the latest technologies to achieve this goal, and this came within the transformation of the journey of the Guests of God and the future vision to serve them, and the future plan looks forward to hosting 30 million pilgrims by 2030, through easy and facilitated procedures for coming to perform Umrah, and effective and innovative solutions to accommodate the increasing numbers of pilgrims.
The annual report of the Guests of God Service Program for the year 2023 explained the development of 15 Islamic and cultural sites in 2025, with the rehabilitation and improvement of Islamic historical and cultural sites in the regions of Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Madinah Al-Munawwarah, and the program aims to reach 40 qualified sites by 2030; which will make the Kingdom a gateway to cultural experiences And a rich spirituality.
He stressed that the program seeks to achieve a satisfaction rate of up to 85% for the services provided in 2025, with the goal of reaching 90% by 2030, by providing services at global levels and standards and ensuring a smooth and comfortable travel experience using the latest innovations.
The report indicated that Pakistan ranks first in terms of the number of Umrah pilgrims with more than two million pilgrims, followed by Egypt with 1,762,825 pilgrims, then Indonesia with 1,466,369 pilgrims.
