Saudi Arabia Extends Visas Validity for Expats for 3 Months at No Charge

On Sunday, Saudi Arabia decided to extend the validity of final exit visas for expats for three months at no charge, according to an official source from the Kingdom's interior ministry.

The Kingdom will also extend the validity of expired residency visas, that end during the travel ban, for expats outside the state for a period of three months without charge.

King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz issued instructions to relevant authorities to extend the validity of expired exit and return visas for expatriate workers abroad for another three months for free.

According to the royal decree, visitors who have entered the Kingdom on visit visas before the suspension of international flights due to the coronavirus pandemic, will have their visas extended for three months. Also expatriates with a final exit visa will also have their visas extended for another three months.

And exit and entry visas for residents’ stuck outside the Kingdom will be extended for three months for free.

Saudi Arabia and coronavirus

The Saudi Arabia health ministry on Sunday reported 3,580 new cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 1,980 recoveries.

Fifty-eight new deaths were also reported.

With this, a total of 209,509 cases have been reported in the Kingdom, along with 145,236 recoveries. Total deaths stand at 1,916.
